Hector's Journey Publication date : March 1, 2004

Once upon a time, there was a young psychiatrist called Hector who was not very pleased with himself, for he could see that despite his efforts he wasn’t succeeding in making people any happier. So, he decided to travel all over the world to see if he could understand what happiness was all about.
Why do so many of us dream of a happier life rather than enjoying our own? Does happiness lie in success or in our relations with others? Does happiness depend on circumstances or on the way we see things? At the end of his journey, after many adventures and unexpected meetings, Hector will be better equipped to answer these questions.

Partly the account of a journey of initiation and partly an adult tale, this book offers us a psychiatrist’s outlook on our doubts and our thirst for happiness.
