Jeanne Siaud-Facchin
A Spring at Home Publication date : September 9, 2020
Jeanne Siaud-Facchin is a clinical psychologist, psychotherapist, and founder of the Cogito’Z centers. She practices and teaches mindfulness meditation in Paris and Marseille. A recognized specialist of the gifted, she is the author of seven works including bestsellers L’Enfant surdoué, Trop intelligent pour être heureux? and S’il te plait, aide-moi a vivre.
This little book of tranquility was born out of the completely unprecedented experience that we have all shared: the springtime confinement of 2020. Inspired by this period during which each of us has seen our foundations shaken and been forced to confront ourselves, often in a state of anxiety, while for others in a state of happiness, Jeanne Siaud-Facchin has written daily meditations for everyone in this moment of virtual collective sharing.
These 55 texts, the fruit of the author’s confinement journal, are an invitation to be grounded, to become aware of our inner life in order to better connect with ourselves and with others, and to regain calm. Siaud-Facchine offers us an opportunity to change the way we look at ourselves following confinement.
