Good and Bad Stress: A How-to Manual Publication date : February 22, 2007

There can be no life without some stress. Although the accumulation of “bad” stress may be dangerous, absolute unstressed calm is impossible.
This book makes the reader understand the following points:
—Stress constitutes an organism’s normal reaction to what it perceives as a threat.
—Although “bad” stress can affect your physical and mental health if it is allowed to take over,
—it can also act as a powerful and positive driving force if you know how to make use of it.

In this book you will learn how to measure and analyse your stress quotient:
—How stressed are you: highly, slightly, or not at all?
—Which stress-inducing factors are you most susceptible to?
—How do you react to stress?

It also proposes a comprehensive programme, which shows how to manage good and bad stress quickly.
It explains how not to stress children.

Everyone feels stress in some form or another. This book explains how to deal with each form of stress, and addresses the sorts of problems encountered by parents as well as by business managers.
Written by two experienced specialists, it will prove to be an indispensable tool for anyone wishing to make profound, lasting changes. This is an accessible, dynamic guide containing tests, analyses, tips, programmes and examples.
